PremierWashington, DC — Premier, Inc., a leading healthcare improvement company uniting an alliance of more than 2,900 U.S. hospitals and nearly 100,000 other providers, has awarded a group purchasing agreement to Kit Check™ (https://bluesight.com) as the exclusive provider of RFID-based medication tracking for pharmacy kits. The solution is designed to deliver operational savings while enhancing safety and is already conveniently available through the top three medical supply wholesalers. Now Premier affiliated hospitals also have the choice to purchase through a pre-negotiated contract,” said Kit Check Vice President Doug Zurawski, Pharm.D.

About RFID Medication Tags

Kit Check customers can now order through their Premier contract.

Kit Check’s RFID medication tags are key enablers of pharmacy staff efficiency as well as reduced drug budgets and inventory levels. Kit Check tags are applied as adhesive labels and allow pharmacy technicians to identify hundreds of pharmacy kit medications by unique identifiers, NDC, lot number and expiration dates in seconds.
